PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site or Direct (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).

Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We will never ever share or sell your personal information for any reason not outlined in this policy.

We share your Personal Information with third parties solely for the purpose of fulfilling our services to you, for example processing an order you place through the Site or Direct; and for other purposes as described above. SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

If you provide us with your credit card information via the Site, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

To further secure your credit card, we also don’t keep details of your credit card information, including the security code (or CCV number) that you need to input in order to complete an order using your credit card.

While we strive to protect such information, we cannot guarantee 100% the security of any information (personal or other) you transmit to us. Therefore, we will not be liable for any breach of security or unintended loss or disclosure of information due to the Site being linked to the Internet.

When your Personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your Personal Information. However, most of the Personal Information is or will be stored in client files, which will be kept by us for a minimum of 7 years.

ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

MegaPixel Multimedia will not charge any fee for your access request, but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information.

If you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site or Direct), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.

Maintaining the quality of your Personal Information

It is important to us that your Personal Information is up-to-date. We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the Site or Direct, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

If you leave a comment on the Site, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on the Site (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

When your Personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your Personal Information.
